Let's grab the best networking email subject line examples that will get your recipient's to actually open your emails and to improve your chances of getting results in networking.

What is the context of your networking email? Did you have a previous relationship with this person?

Maybe you're just thanking them for their advice on how to build a relationship network. Alternatively, you could be following up on a networking event or are you seeking career advice? or are you looking for a fact-finding interview? The point is that you should not keep the purpose hidden in the networking email subject line. In fact, if you make the networking email subject line big, it will almost certainly be deleted.

Writing networking emails or for that matter any kind of follow-up email that we have to do after we meet somebody. It could be after a conference, after an employer presentation, after an event at your university or campus, after a job fair, or it could be anything at all. And it sort of covers the entire spectrum of emails that you might write in an informal way to build a relationship all the way up to the very specific emails that you would need to write after, say, an interview, the famous thank-you note.

Then comes the difficult note, perhaps a couple of weeks later, when you have to follow up and inquire about what's going on with your candidacy or whatever if you haven't heard from them. So, you know, there are so many of these tricky situations, and even the best of situations don't always make us look forward to doing the follow-up and writing the emails.

Personally, I will admit that not following up when I should, when I need to is one of my horrifying witnesses. Which, by the way, should be within 24-48 hours of the interaction. Okay, so it doesn't have to happen on the same day. but most likely the day after, if not the day after that. Now, what I do is sit on it and procrastinate and think about it. Of course, I'll eventually write the perfect email. The perfect always, but it's a week late, which I know isn't good. Don't wait a week, you need to get it out sooner, but you also need to make sure you know what you're doing.

You know you can't wait a week; you have to get it out sooner. But, of course, you must also ensure that you are saying something useful to the person reading it. It's not just like, "Okay, I've got to write something," and then you quickly rattle off a very generic note. That doesn't really help me in this situation. You can't have people who are both punctual and cautious about following the rules. However, you are aware that their communications and emails are not particularly compelling. So you might end up with that person again, who may not have a large or memorable audience. As a result, you must find that sweet spot in the middle.

Okay, so with that, I'm going to go over some networking email subject line example templates along with sample networking email. It really does cover almost every scenario you're likely to encounter. These networking email subject line example templates are intended to assist you in getting started on the right foot. Obviously, you shouldn't just copy exactly and change things to make it look like it came from you.
